Responsibilities and Duties:
1) Human Resources
The Organisation & Management (O&M) Assistant will support the Project Leader O&M and the Country
Coordinator in terms of human resources related topics.
● He/She is in charge of the visa processes of the volunteers on the field (issuance, renewal,
immigration documents, etc.). He/she sends guidelines to volunteers, checks if documents are
correctly filled, provides support if volunteers face issues.
● Taking advantage of the local language, he/she supports the recruitment of local volunteers
(community mobilizers, etc.). For example, he/she will participate in selection interviews and help
define salaries and additional benefits according to legal provisions and local practices.
2) Safety & Security
The O&M Assistant will be in contact with the 8 centers in India.
● He/She is in charge of the implementation and control of safety measures in the centers.
3) Administration
The O&M Assistant will regularly assist the team to ensure that all necessary documents/reports are being
kept and being monitored.
● He/She verifies bills to ensure they are in accordance with LP4Y’s policies.
● He/She gathers information and creates a list of equipment allowed per centre for budget
purposes.
● He/she actively participates in the regular reports / updates the documents.
Required skills :
highly proficient in spoken and written english,speaks Hindi/Bengali,knowledge of basic IT tools,MS word,Excel,Power Point,Attention to details,Ability to work in a team and in a multicultural environment,Diplomatic and excellent communicant,Ability to work autonomously,Proactive and takes initiative,High motivation and flexibility,Volunteer spirit
Required education / Experience :
No specific requirement,Bachelor in Human Resources or in Administration can be a plus
