While we were adapting to the new normal, the Y-East network has been steadily growing and thus renewing our faith in the importance of SDG 17 – Partnerships for Goals. Y-East is now 135 members strong and this month, we offered an opportunity to all the members to meet each other virtually at the Y-East Mixer – Community Meet-up on 29th July.
It was a fun, insightful, collaborative session where we got a chance to share Y-East’s exciting updates and opportunities, connect with like-minded friends and partners and participate in engaging break-out room discussions to improve Y-East and plan for collaborative projects. Brendon Johnson, Senior Networks Lead at inHive joined us as the Keynote Speaker and he shared his 10+ years of experience on how networks, organisations, and teams can better collaborate to achieve social impact – from building bridges across boundaries to fostering self-organising and collective decision-making.
Stay tuned with us as we put these great ideas that we received from our members into action very soon!
