COVID-19 Vaccination Drive

Y-East in association with Techno India DAMA Hospital arranged Covishield vaccinations for Kolkata-based Civil Society Organisations of its network. This vaccination opportunity was extended at a special discounted rate to the organisations’ staff, beneficiaries, as well as their family members (based in Kolkata and in the 18+ age group). This vaccination campaign was conducted between the 2nd and the 8th June 2021 at Offbeat CCU, Kolkata for a total of 623 people.

The vaccinations took place with medical staff from Techno India Dama Hospital and were smoothly supervised by Techno India Group, Offbeat CCU and Y-East teams. 

19 organisations in total benefited from this vaccination drive, namely Cogfree, Punam Energy, Onganic Foods, Environment Conservation Society, Shumpun Foundation, Responsible Charity, Twirl, Alag Soch, Anahat For Change Foundation, Paint it Red Foundation, WISH Foundation, Calcutta Rescue, Hope Kolkata Foundation, Don Bosco Ashalayam / Terra Indica, TISHED, Shree Shyam Mitra Mandal, Tomorrow’s Foundation, Clan Earth, Sapphire Creations. At the end, each participant was able to proudly take a picture of themselves in the “I am covid-19 vaccinated” frame.

Beneficiaries will also avail slots for their second vaccination dose, at least 84 days after their first slot as per official regulations.
