On 1st October 2021, members of Y-East along with the members of the Y-East network – Kolkata Zero Waste Bazaar, Hulladek, Twirl, Recycan, Inwaster, SN Greenovation Services, Waste wheel – and several other organisations that work in the field of waste management in Kolkata were glad to come together for an event organized by Global Shapers Kolkata Hub for the launch of their toolkit.
The participants brainstormed on ideas to mobilise more community participation at an individual and organizational level, possible solutions and also understand the kind of motivation people need to take action regarding it. And it’s always fun to work together for a good cause so all in all, it was an eventful day for everyone.
