Movers Workshop : Climate Action SDG 13

Movers Programme UNDP in India joined forces with the Youth for Sustainability India Alliance and conducted a Movers Workshop on SDG 13: Climate Action (Level 1 and 2) on 24th and 25th April 2021,
Workshop on Climate Action proved to be a golden opportunity to know more about SDG13: Climate Action and to dive deeper into the causes. Participants learned from experts how they can take concrete action for SDG 13!

Level 1 of the Movers Workshop was facilitated by Anisha Jindal and Linka, and Level 2 was facilitated by Sagar Koirala, Michael Chhandama and Akash Chandrayan. The workshop also welcomed 4 speakers – Suchismitra Sen Basu- Founder, One Earth Social Initiative, Pratap Raju – Co-founder, The Climate Collective Network, Gaurav Sharma – CEO, Thankyou, Wioleta Burdzy Seth – Co-founder, Human Circle.

The Movers Programme wants to mobilise youth across Asia-Pacific to raise awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals and develop entrepreneurial mindsets, by organising and facilitating the Movers Workshop in their communities. After attending the workshop participants were able to understand climate change, its effect on the environment and human life at a deeper level.
